Fresno State's offense overwhelmed San José State on Saturday, cruising to a 41-14 victory in Week 14. The Bulldogs dominated the second quarter, outscoring the Spartans 18-7 in that frame alone to seize control early.

Elijah Gilliam led Fresno State's ground game with 92 rushing yards, including a crucial 34-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter. The Bulldogs' passing attack also proved effective, with receiver Ezekiel Avit hauling in 8 receptions.

San José State's Xavier Ward completed 94 passing yards but couldn't generate enough offensive momentum. The Spartans' defense struggled containing Fresno State, particularly in the second quarter when an interception return for a touchdown by J. Pollard and a touchdown pass to J. Freeman put the game out of reach.

Fresno State scored 20 points in the opening half and never looked back, outscoring San José State 20-7 over the final two quarters. The victory exceeded betting expectations, as the Bulldogs covered the 3.5-point spread and pushed the game over the 46-point total.
